Vision for Volunteering next steps: contribute to the Vision in a group discussion on 23 February

A huge thank you to everyone who recently completed our volunteering survey. We’ve had over 310 responses, covering some 550 different volunteering activities, from across the county and from all kinds of organisations and groups. Your feedback is hugely valuable as we develop a new Vision for Volunteering in Oxfordshire.

We’re starting to analyse the wealth of information you’ve given us and we’re already learning a lot about what’s happening across Oxfordshire, including the challenges you face and what support might help you tackle those challenges. We’re also starting some more in-depth interviews with some of the people who’ve been in touch with us.

For the next stage of our research, we’re inviting volunteers and people who work with volunteers to take part in some group discussions at an open meeting on Zoom on Thursday 23 February at 2.30pm.

At the meeting, we’ll share some early insights from the Vision for Volunteering project and invite feedback and discussion around themes arising from what you’ve told us. Following this, there will be an opportunity to discuss the kind of support that you think is most important to ensuring that voluntary and community organisations, and the people within them, thrive in Oxfordshire over the next five years.

If you’d like to join us, please email [email protected].
