Didcot Civic Hall

Didcot Civic Hall is owned by Didcot Town Council and managed by Didcot Civic Hall Management Committee as a resource for the local community, it was originally built in 1979 and was opened by SIR Ashley Ponsonby – a former Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire.

In 2011 it was fully refurbished with an investment of £1.3M, creating a simple and contemporary design solution for this historic building in the heart of Didcot.

Didcot Civic Hall can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to: meetings, small or big conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings, christenings and communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes.

Since January 2018, Didcot Civic Hall has been improved its services and in December 2018 was nominated by Thames Valley Awards for Outstanding Contribution to the Community Award, and in March 2019 for Community Business of the Year Award by FSB Awards.

The experienced staff are always on hand to assist with any special requirements.

There are 10 disabled parking spaces.
