Stanford in the Vale

Stanford in the Vale Village Hall was opened by Pam Ayres, writer of popular humorous verse and a native of this village, on 9 July 1983. It has been continually improved and updated ever since. In 1999 the hall was extended with an extra small hall.
Both halls have their own kitchen facilities and toilets, including disabled.
The surrounding area has been planted and includes a safe fenced children’s outside play garden.
There is a large car park with ample car parking space for about 50 cars.
Positioned off the A417 Faringdon to Wantage road it has two main venues which can be hired separately or together: the main hall and a separate small hall.
There are comfortable chairs, a large well equipped kitchen plus a smaller kitchen for the small hall, a stage and a PA system in the main hall.
