Leafield Open Day -Village Halls Week 2023

A lovely mix of people dropped in to Leafield Village Hall on Tuesday 24th Jan for their village halls week open day. When I arrived a group of people were being given some guidance by an energy expert. This was followed by delicious soup and bread, supplied by friends of the hall.

Unfortunately, not enough people turned up for the seated exercises, it was a very cold day after all, however people did turn up to try the Short Mat Bowls and this may well become another activity at the hall. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn’t bad at it myself! The afternoon ended with tea and cake and more sociable chat; some good connections were made to get more help on the hall committee in the process.
