Located opposite the church in Sparsholt, Griffin Memorial Hall is an attractive Victorian school with wooden floors and a beamed ceiling. The main hall can be curtained into a larger and a smaller area. A generous entrance lobby leads to a well-equipped kitchen with a cooker, microwave, fridge, and a good selection of crockery and cutlery, and a hatch to the hall, and to toilets, including disabled with baby-changing facility.
There is disabled access to all areas.
The hall is also equipped with tables and chairs sufficient to seat 60 for a meal, and has an entertainments licence. This is an attractive venue for parties, exercise classes, meetings, exhibitions and it is conveniently located to use in conjunction with use of the Church. Sparsholt is a lovely village close to the Ridgeway, and just 4 miles west of Wantage on the B4507 (on the way to Uffington White Horse).
