We’re so glad to have Bev on our board of Trustees. Here’s a little snippet he wrote on joining Community First Oxfordshire:
“I first came to know of Community First Oxfordshire through a visit to Upper Heyford to see the work they were doing bringing existing and new communities together. Although a small operation on a limited budget, the difference they were making was visible even to visitors and I came away feeling this was a fundamental difference between building new developments and delivering new communities. Learning more of the breadth and depth of their work across Oxfordshire deepened my appreciation so when asked some years later if I would be interested in joining the Board there was no hesitation on my part. The commitment by staff and the Board to the work being done is real and goes well beyond a job or a role; we believe passionately in the difference being made to Oxfordshire communities. Being a small part of Community First Oxfordshire has been a privilege and I will be an advocate of their work for life.”
