The Vision for Volunteering was published in July 2023 and a year on, we are building on this research and its findings. To empower and support communities bring this document to life we will be holding a programme of workshops, beginning this autumn, which will culminate in an in-person celebration of volunteering in summer 2025.

These workshops will be aimed at anyone involved in volunteering, for volunteers, volunteer managers, non-profit organisations who have volunteers, and organisations who benefit from volunteers.

The workshops will be looking directly at the recommendations of the report, what might have changed since then, how we can embed the values and messages shared and create an ongoing space to review and reflect upon volunteering. We aim to invite speakers and hold these sessions online, with a face-to-face event taking place at the conclusion.
