Originally built in 1926 Wardington Memorial Hall was totally refurbished in 2012/13. The Hall now has a more contemporary appearance whilst still retaining all the features of a traditional village hall.
In order to maximise the use of natural light, the orientation of the facilities within the Hall were totally re-arranged so that the main hall (48’ x 27’) now looks south-west with windows along the south side and French windows on the western end. The service areas are at the entrance hall end and include a fully equipped preparation kitchen and a bar servery into the main hall.
There is a separate meeting room, The Lady Wardington Room, with also has a servery from the kitchen. There are the usual toilet facilities along with a separate disabled toilet.
At the south western end the French windows lead on to a terraced area immediately beyond which is the village children’s playground.
