As a charity with community at our roots, we know that over 20,000 households across Oxfordshire still rely on heating oil. We partner with Affinity Fuels (AF), to support easier and more affordable access to heating for anyone living in a household reliant on oil.  

The community oil scheme was originally set up as a bulk-buying scheme, but since the early 2020s the scheme moved away from bulk-buying owing to fluctuating oil prices and disinterested oil distributers. The oil scheme is now run as a free membership scheme where members can order oil when they need it and at competitive oil prices through AF’s national network.  

How to join

To join the scheme, all you need to do is register using our form to get free lifetime membership. This membership allows you to order oil through Affinity Fuels. You need to be a member of this free scheme to use AF in Oxfordshire.
