Oxfordshire Playing Fields Association discounted membership

OPFA Oxfordshire Playing Fields Association

Green spaces and public areas made for sport and play are an important part of our neighbourhoods. The Oxfordshire Playing Fields Association provides help and advice to local organisations working to provide and maintain green spaces, playing fields, children’s play areas and multi-purpose hard surfaces.

Their connection to CFO can be traced back to 1931, when a long-lasting partnership between the two organisations was formed, as both shared similar interests in developing and supporting local community facilities in the county’s rural areas.  Nowadays, OPFA is highly respected throughout the county, through its ability to offer impartial and comprehensive advice on all aspects of local outdoor playing space management.

OPFA seek to help community-minded people who manage such spaces (mostly volunteers on parish councils or playing field committees), to maintain them efficiently and to the highest quality that they can.  They are the only not-for-profit charitable organisation in Oxfordshire able to offering this kind of support.

The OPFA are offering a discount on their membership for Parishes who are not yet part of their organisation but are members of Community First Oxfordshire. For 75% of their normal membership fee, you can access the following free services:
