This year’s Village Halls Week 2026 focuses on how community halls and centres contribute to the health and wellbeing of people living in rural areas.
To celebrate, Carterton and Holton are hosting morning socials for hall committees. Join us from 10am-12pm at Carterton W.I Hall on Tuesday 17th March and Holton Village Hall on Friday 20th.
Join us for chat and refreshments to say thank you for your efforts and to recognise that we need to look after the health and wellbeing of our hall volunteers. There will be an informal talk at Carterton about how the W.I members have recently done up their 100 year old hall and if you wish you can ask the Holton committee about their plan to become more energy efficient.
We hope that you will enjoy meeting and chatting with other hall volunteers and have some time to relax.
