All Well Together: A community celebration

Last Friday community groups from across Oxfordshire met up for ALL WELL TOGETHER – a free drop-in event with displays (including a hand drawn timeline!), food, networking, performances, and conversations to celebrate two years of the Well Together programme.

Attendees met other community leaders, found out more about the deep impact community activities have on wellbeing, and heard stories from people supported by the programme.

We loved reading all the wonderful messages in our visitor book, here are just a few of our favourites:

Two people pointing at the Well Together timeline “What an amazing message of hope this Well Together project is sending out to the communities of Oxfordshire! We are all better together” – Sarah Lawfull (nature-based training and coaching, where the fruit is)

“The timeline is so powerful and impressive. The care, love, and joy put into it feels like an embodiment of the programme. Such an impactful programme for us and many many others. Thank you.”
Anita, Style Acre

Three people smiling in front of the timeline “Incredibly inspiring and beautifully put together” The One-Eighty Team

“Amazing to see the wealth and breadth of supported organizations. I am particularly inspired by the way organisations are being connected by Well Together into a community of determined and resourceful people all working together.” Outi Benson, Hogacre common.

We also heard some lovely insights from our staff – take a look at the quotes below:

'It really felt 'All Well Together' - that we have all worked together to make something great happen. Loads of people came and it all felt that we each need each other, and that not one is more important than the other. Well together is doing what it says on the tin!' It was a perfect day, truly awesome - the whole Well Together team worked together to highlight all the work that has been done, and all presented in the magnificent space at Fusion Arts, Seeing all the groups, the hugs, the wishes and connections that people were making with each other took my breath away. It was a great day, and it was good to for people and the groups to see the extent of the project. It highlighted that we are all in this together, that it's a collective effort that makes us all stronger. It helps us all to look to working more collaboratively in the future.

We really enjoyed hosting this day and look forward to seeing communities across Oxfordshire continue to thrive.

WellTogether is delivered in partnership by Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action and Community First Oxfordshire. The Programme is funded by the NHS Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board
