Join our AGM: Hear from Neale Coleman and have your say

'Come and join' us written on blackboard

Sign up now to join our Annual General Meeting online on Thursday 8 October.

From 1-2.30pm we will hear a talk from Oxford Growth Commission chair Neale Coleman, CBE, followed by reflections on the year from Community First Oxfordshire.

Anyone is welcome to join us for the keynote speech at the beginning of the session, and for the AGM afterwards with our members.

Neale was appointed chair of the Oxford Growth Commission in May 2025 to support the delivery of infrastructure, housing and employment in Oxford and Oxfordshire. He has a track record in delivering growth and regeneration, including his work for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London and the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

Oxford Growth Commission’s interim report was published in December last year, setting out recommendations for unlocking areas of growth in the city and surrounding areas.

“Achieving economic growth will also need a strategy for sustainable and inclusive growth that delivers real benefits and improved quality of life to communities across the County,” Neale wrote in his foreword.

The Commission’s final report is due to publish in Autumn this year, and despite the recent pause on Local Government Reform, Neale remains focused on plans for the county. He will discuss opportunities for growth in Oxfordshire, the challenges, and the priorities. There will be a chance to contribute and ask questions to Neale and Community First Oxfordshire.
